oaklawn park hosts the racing festival of the south, it starts april 13th and continues through the 15th.
thursday 13th features the $150,000 bachelor
friday 14th features the $600,000 apple blossom handicap gr1 featuring stellar wind versus tessa promessa
$150,000 fantasy
saturday 15th features the $1,000,000 arkansas derby gr1 featuring petrov and classic empire
$750,000 oaklawn handicap
$400,000 count fleet sprint handicap featuring whitmore who's five for five sprinting
$150,000 northern spur stakes
great racing which starts tomorrow and goes until saturday. we are honored to be a part of this special weekend of racing. if the right horse(s) win we will be invited into the winner's presentation. no we don't own any of the runners but are very good friends with one of the trainers.
