The fraudulent Pegasus race is over, now what? The Derby preps start soon, but the racing industry is filled with many questions marks. How many tracks can fail this year? Will Churchill Downs Incorporated owned tracks along with Stronach see they need to lower takeouts? What Gulfstream does day in day out is ludicrous with their pist times, they can give three hoots if they constantly overlap into other races going off. So many questions for a industry on life support, your thoughts?

once again, how was the Pegasus race fraudulent? just because you throw out nonsense doesn't make it so. people put up their money and they ran a race. was it the best 12 horses ever assembled? of course not, but it was no more fraudulent then 90% of the other graded stakes races run around the country now a days. regardless of what happened to chrome during the race, people got what they wanted. a rematch of the top two horses in the country. how often do you even get that anymore outside of the BC classic? small tracks have been doomed to fail for 30 years now and it has nothing to do with anything stronach or CDI is doing right now. this is what happens when action whores have to have 6 tracks going at the same time that they can bet on at their fingertips with simulcasting. post times? post times? that's really what you see as a major problem? lol. who cares really. use your brain and pay attention and you can see what the tendancies of the track are and know if the races are usually 3-4 minutes late. hell harness tracks do it all the time and no one bitches about that. anything else you want to quibble about sunshine?

Pegasus will be a cease and desist race, meaning one time only. About post times say that new yorks first post is 12:50 gulfstream 12;50 gulfstream delays it's posts about 4/5 minutes per race meaning both ny and gulf go off at the same time. no one cares about harness racing.

jesus, more shit you just make up off the top of your head to make you look dumber then you already do? they have already confirmed it will be run again next year, and quite possibly both a dirt and turf race in 2019. do you even think about what you are saying before you open your mouth? so bet both races and watch one on delay. at some point during the day every track has delays and scheduled post times get screwed up. you deal with it. you cant bet a race without seeing it live? you really must be a junkie for the action, huh? more like no one cares about harness racing...............and your opinions already.

Nothing is confirmed until it actually happens. I don't see any of the owners who paid $1 million lining up writing their checks. Far from a "junkie for action" I do look over two tracks daily but rarely make three plays on any day. My opinions are mine and mine only, if you don't agree with them move on.

if they are your opinions and yours only, then why are you posting them on a public forum? do you expect only people who agree with you to respond? if so, you must get pretty lonely because I cant see to many people being as ignorant to facts and common sense as you seem to be. by all accounts from supporters and nay sayers, the who Pegasus day was a success. the only people whining about are the ones who didn't want to pay 100 for admission, and truthfully, they need to face reality. if it was priced out of their range, then too bad. as my father used to say, the world needs ditch diggers too. regardless of what people wan to tell you when you are growing up, not everyone can be president. some peoples lot in life is to work at mickey d's and take the bus to work. this is a once a year thing. if you cant afford it, stay home and watch it on tv. going to a day of racing like this isn't your birth right as a racing fan. big events cost more money to attend. its like that in every sport. just because you are a loyal fan to the dodgers or Yankees doesn't mean you aren't going to have to pay an arm and a leg for tickets if they make it to the world series. plus by keeping the price tag higher they kept the crowd right where they wanted it so that it was a sellout but not an over flowing mass of hysteria where everyone would be uncomfortable and overcrowded like at Belmont park. they had big, value filled fields and the two best horses in training running. what else would you want to make you happy? or are you even capable of being happy without bringing others down to your level of misery pres?
