Letter From NY State Racing Fan Advisory Council Released

The NY State Racing Fan Advisory Council today released a letter taking NYRA to task for its' handling of Belmont Stakes Day. Needless to say many of the items reported were a conformation of things reported by members of this forum. It also pointed out NYRAS failure to implement suggestions put forth by the Council to handle Belmont Day. While it did praise the quality of races it pointed out that it was overshadowed by all the negatives fans were forced to endure. It also put forth a list of what NYRA should do for next years Belmont. I couldn't help but smile since several items on the list were ones I outlined in my 9 step approach to handling Belmont Day.
