AQU On-Track: $676,188 Inter-State Wagering: $ 4,120,181
On Track was the 2nd LOWEST compared to the last 5 Weds. Maybe Monday isn't that good after all or just maybe the "product" isn't as good as they think it is....

Wiz:
AQU was promoting Monday is the "new" Wednesday... So I took the last 5 Wed on track and inter track numbers VS today's numbers...
If today was an indication then Monday is worse than Weds, or just another failed NYRA venture...

To fend off the obvious comparisons that will be forthcoming, combined handle at Parx today was lower than any of the last five Mondays, and interstate handle was about 10% lower than the worst Monday in almost two months and 32% lower than the average Monday handle from November 18 to date.

George really Aqu had the highest handle in North America. What a big deal since there were only 4 other TB tracks running and none of them A tracks. It would been one heck of a story if it wasn't.

I know Lt1, but figured I'd throw that out since it's such a "dump"!
Even now in January Aqueduct consistently ranks second or third (usually to Santa Anita and sometimes Gulfstream and/or now Oaklawn) in the country. Aqueduct is running at the low point of the New York racing season, each of those three are at the high point of their respective seasons.
Interestingly today the total handle at Aqueduct exceeded all other operating North American race tracks COMBINED! And it's only the first day of the Monday in leiu of Wednesday experiment. Imagine what it might be in March.

Santa Anita is in its HIGH point of the season, REALLY?? Please state facts...Oaklawn just started with basic Horses and races..Gulfstream only on the weekends has better Horses running...
You have great difficulties admitting when things don't go your way......
AQU is a DUMP you even said that it's not worth you going there anymore.....

Santa Anita considers it's winter/spring dates it's prime season. It's when they run their biggest and most important races other than the Breeders' Cup, which aren't "their" races. Same thing for Gulfstream, they only started racing before late December and after April a year or two ago. And Oaklawn has always run from January to April.
Like I said, it's the high point of the year for all three of those tracks.
Yes, I did say it's not worth me going there (Are you stalking me? That's SCARY!) now that I live almost 2 hours away and they only race in the winter. I didn't say "anymore", and anytime I'm in the area I do go to Aqueduct. I do bet on their races just about every day and I go to Belmont Park and Saratoga many times each year.

You asked me to state facts, I stated them. No one can dispute that the three tracks I mentioned are in the prime of their seasons or in the case of Oaklawn, about to be. So, since you can't dispute it you typically resort to your usual nastiness. I wonder what does that?

The post was edited seven minutes before your snarky comment, as if it's any of your business. Like I said last week, I mostly edit posts to correct spelling or punctuation after I see them, unlike others whose posts are semi literate. Plus, since it concerns you so much, I've taken to editing posts even when I don't change anything! Now go find something else to cry about, okay?
