what a joke. if anyone other then this senile old f**k was training him, PETA and the NTRA and every other horse racing entity would be throwing a fit over inhumane treatment of animals when it comes to this old broke down donkey. has the horse even won a race or hit the board this year? time to let it go.

lmao - why post when you know nothing about this amazing horse - I realize a baffert fan will never have a 10-11 yr old to root but that doesn't mean all older horses are broken down or donkeys - he's in excellent condition and extremely well taken care of - PETA would be more likely to go after the pharmacists in racing
this year: Laurel Park 8/20/2016 10 Mister Diz Stakes TB 3 Parx Racing 7/9/2016 8 Parx Dash Stakes - Gr. 3 TB 3 Penn National 6/4/2016 2 Pennsylvania Governor's Cup Stakes TB 3 Pimlico 5/20/2016 8 Jim McKay Turf Sprint Stakes TB 1 Laurel Park 5/1/2016 4 Allowance TB 1
and how many thoros run each year? the following (all in the top 100) ain't too shabby
Ranked 98th by Earnings - 2014 Ranked 74th by Earnings - 2013 Ranked 63rd by Earnings - 2012 Ranked 64th by Wins - 2011 Ranked 55th by Earnings - 2011 Ranked 13th by Wins - 2010

what do I need to know? what he eats for breakfast? what time he has his first bowel movement of the day? I could care less. all I know is any other horse who has had the success he has had and now at this age is clearly on the decline would have people yelling and screaming about how they should retire him and let him live out his remaining years in peaceful retirement. as soon as most horses who have had his success lose 3 or 4 in a row, the bleeding hearts come out of the woodwork crying about cruelty to the animals and how the owners are greedy bastards milking the horse for every last cent. but those same sentiments and feelings don't matter here? why, because some old fart trains him on a second class circuit? take a close look at those stats you posted? where are the 2015 and 2016 numbers?

laurel may be the premier turf track in the US - fields are usually full, many trainers, jockeys - in and out of state - not at all like stale cali racing - and it's certainly better racing (and far safer) than DelMar's crappy short fields
king is a terrific, nice hard working man - he is in the HOF

Kids - stop already! The personal stuff isn't happening here. Wiz - Apparently you will be pleased that Ben lost it seems. However, his story is quite remarkable and he has many, many fans. You're not one,but several of us are. Everyone has opinions and favorites. It is OK to disagree. It is not OK to turn disagreement into personal attacks. We don't think that's the way to "revive" a forum. Yes - there are other forums and that kind of crap is what keeps them going. That's fine - for them. Trust me on this - life's too short for constant anger. Ben may be turned out for the winter now and perhaps retired. I'm sure his trainer, owner and friend will do what's best. www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/214920/mosler-wins-laurel-dash-to-stand-in-maryland
