And how will he do? First Frankel 2-Year-Old Entered At Newbury Friday Paulick At last, it is nearly time to see the first offspring of superstar racehorse Frankel. He is the only horse to have ever recorded Timeform Ratings above 140 seven times, including the highest ever reported at 147. He compiled a perfect 14-for-14 record on the track, winning Group 1 races at two, three and four years of age. By Galileo, out of the multiple listed stakes-winning mare Kind (Danehill), Frankel stands at Banstead Manor Stud, Juddmonte's facility just outside of Newmarket in the United Kingdom. According to racingpost.com, Juddmonte reports that Frankel sired 111 foals in his first crop, which is 2-year-olds of this year. The first is entered to race at Newbury this Friday (Berkshire, UK), and the colt was actually the very first foal by the stallion. Named Cunco, he is out of Chrysanthemum, by Danehill Dancer. “It's time for the talking to stop for Frankel,” said Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to Frankel's owner-breeder Khalid Abdullah. “It's no good for me to keep saying what a great stallion he is and how fantastic his two-year-olds are – which they are by the way – as they have to do it on the track.” more bloodstock.racingpost.com/news/bloodstock/its-time-for-the-talking-to-stop-for-frankel/2079052/
