McEvoy outed for 2013 Randwick Guineas interference Darley will be without stable rider Kerrin McEvoy next weekend after stewards found him at fault for interference in the Group I Randwick Guineas at Warwick Farm on Saturday. McEvoy pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for allowing his mount Tatra to cross Ferlax, causing that galloper to be checked, after the field had gone about 200 metres in the $500,000 main event. McEvoy’s initial suspension of seven meetings was reduced to five. McEvoy was compensated for missing next Saturday’s Group I Coolmore Classic meeting and his guilty plea. McEvoy’s ban commenced immediately. He returns to the saddle on March www.racenet.com.au/news/88366/McEvoy-outed-for-2013-Randwick-Guineas-interference
