Race 7) #10 Casino Call #4 Garnet
Going with first timers this races as nothing else looks special. #10 Sky Mesa and Carson City cross should have some speed and has decent 1:13 6F workouts.
Race 8) #3 Flamboyant #6 Power Ped
#3 looks like a 20-1 to some I guess and probably will be 50-1 at post time. Yet this horse beat Home Run Kitten first time out in the US and all last year was running against the best on the dirt and turf including California Chrome, Mr. Speaker, Midnight Storm, etc. Now is stretching out real long and looks good to me. The competition is really not that impressive so gets in light today. Some would look at the PP's of this horse and say why - I say why not? lol. # 6 also looks like class up front in the pace in a lot of class races.
Race 9) #9 Beholder #3 Bayern
Looks like these two are the class in the race. I have to go with Beholder as Bayern is struggling to run these days in very slow fractional races and just getting beat by other male runners in this racs - so that says to me all the male horses in this race can get beat by this female.
Race 10) Mischief Clem #2 Mal Verde
Mischief Clem is the absolute class horse in the race by far but can he run on the turf. I cannot count on my fingers and toes the number of horses that went on to do well but bombed out against Mischief Clem. #2 showed a lot of speed on the grass at 5F but then went to the route - now back to where he belongs at 5F.
Race 11) #9 Eddies First
Looks like class and speed of speed coming out of 40K 6F two races back battling for lead against Turnover then four races back battling for lead with Cautions Giant 44/1 1:08/4 at SA who is way more class horse than what is in this race today.
