It's a slow day so thought you might find this amusing. From HRTV Facebook short vid: The morning after the Belmont Stakes, Frosted was feeling like.... www.facebook.com/HRTVnetwork

Frosted ran his ass off in the belmont. He was just born the same year AP was. He is still a good horse and will win some nice races.

Frosted is a strong plodding horse. That is the only reason why he was 2nd in the Belmont. He is on the borderline of being in the top 10 or 20 3yos. He will not win a significant G1 race in the future.

plodding? i guess you didnt see all of his races. if you can name 9 other 3 yr olds better then him, i'll eat my F*ing hat. the only race he looked like a plodder in was the derby where he had a shitty trip and bad break.

Frosted is the 2nd best 3 year old. I say that because of his pedigree. Tapit's have torn it up over the last 2 years or so. Dortmund should be a turf horse. Big Brown had the pedigree. Go back and look at his races. Dominated first asking at Toga on the lawn and won an allowance off the lawn at Gulfstream. Beat some good grass runners including Proudinsky in the Monmouth Stakes. Who knows what the horse would have did if that 2nd race didn't take off the turf? If Frosted runs in the Travers and Pharaoh doesn't, he wins. Carp Diem may be crippled next week the way Pletcher runs his 3 year olds into the ground.

shit carpe diem was over rated the whole time. he had no chance in the derby off of the worst prep race in the bluegrass, which somehow some thought was a good race. you go back even to his 2nd in the breeders cup and can see it to. pharoah had to skip it due to an injury and the race was run with a blistering pace and both texas red and carpe diem just picked up the pieces passing tired horses. thats why texas red was an automatic bet against next time out and is no where to be found now either. i just love how people keep bringing up carpe diem as if he is somehow a top 3 yr. old. its almost as bad as the people who thought madefromlucky had a chance in the belmont. another automatic throwout in that race. plain and simple, some people dont know how to handicap the races or what to look for. all the double talk in the world wont change that either.
i wonder where titletown five and freedoms child are right now?

Hey man I am just looking for a horse that I can hang my hat on other than the 3-5 chalk. I guess I have a slight problem in that I don't like to go with the betting favorite but look for some talented horse not yet discovered to beat him. I tried and tried this year but with no success. In conclusion there is only AP at the top and all the others are basically POS. I just looked over all of Frosted race charts and although he is a POS too he was very consistently beating horses like Keen Ice and never finished worse than 4th is all of his starts against some of the top horses. I would say now that he is a very strong and consistent horse and may be in the top 5 considering after AP all the others are POS's.

but my question is, why is he a pos? just because he isnt as good as pharoah? that sounds like the people who were saying pharoah was no good after his derby win and had no chance at the TC just because he wasnt as good as secretariat and didnt finish that strongly the last 1/8th in the derby. i will give the same answer i gave to that. yes you are right. pharoah is no secretariat. but who is?and yes, frosted is no american pharoah, but who is this year?
