good idea? I think so Canterbury opened today Canterbury Stewards to Interact With Public Bloodhorse Three veteran racing officials accredited by the Racing Officials Accreditation program have been approved by the Minnesota Racing Commission to serve as stewards at Canterbury Park and they are taking some steps toward transparency in their decisions. Canterbury's live meet runs from May 15 to Sept. 12. The stewards are David Hooper, James Lages, and David Smith. "These three highly experienced racing professionals are dedicated to fulfilling the MRC's regulatory mandate to protect the integrity of horse racing in Minnesota," MRC executive director Tom DiPasquale said in a release. "The MRC is also taking additional steps for improving transparency and understanding of steward decisions." To that end, the MRC will launch "Stewards' Watch," which will be available at the Canterbury live blog at www.canterburylive.com and in the official track program. Stewards will respond to questions through the blog. Hooper will be returning to Canterbury's stewards' stand for his third year, and this year will serve as chief steward. Lages, a former jockey, has 23 years as a racing office, while Smith has about 44 years in the industry.

Canterbury opens tonight (about 45 minutes ago)
I don't think it's a good idea to directly answer questions from people on the internet. NYRA has a sectoin on their website where the stewards detail their reasons for disqualifications or not.
I wouldn't want to be put in a position of answering an irate gambler who may have just lost his rent money.

If he's stupid enough to bet his rent money...........
Think it's good. What's to deal with? They explain their decision. They ignore profanity. Unless you know who bets Canterbury LOL
