Juleps, Show Bets, And Heels: Kentucky Derby Do’s And Don’ts

Churchill Downs has a couple of new rules for Kentucky Derby 141 that reflect the changing times, including bans on selfie sticks and remote controlled aircraft.
But aside from the official list of items that can or cannot be brought into the racetrack on Oaks and Derby days, certain things are considered must-dos for a trip to the Derby — on the bucket list for many people — and other things are, shall we say, thought to be a really bad idea.
We thought it’d be fun to ask around the home of the greatest two minutes in sports and get some opinions on the do’s and don’ts of the Kentucky Derby experience.
