I love looking at the babies! The one thing I don't like about this site is it doesn't say if the foal is a colt or a filly. FoalPhotos.com Launched to Showcase Foals Bloodhorse A new interactive website for Thoroughbred breeders and enthusiasts has been launched called FoalPhotos.com. The site is designed to showcase Thoroughbred foals each foaling season, and it invites breeders, photographers, or any authorized person to upload new foal photos for public viewing. "There's just something about a foal that gets to us all," said Christine Siegel, president of the Lexington-based FoalPhotos.com, as well as a Thoroughbred breeder and longtime horsewoman. "A lot of us in horse communities work so closely with foal crops every year and have the benefit of seeing so many of them. So we wanted to create a site that would make it easy for everyone to see these magnificent animals that are born every year, and also have the ability to share them with the world," she said. Participants are only required to enter the sire, dam, and sex of the foal when submitting an uploaded photo to the site. Each photo goes through a quality-control measure and quick-verification process before being published to the site's gallery. Link: www.foalphotos.com/
