As you know, He was my favorite last year. I can't wait to see his offspring race.

Oxbow, who last year became Calumet's eighth Preakness (gr. I) winner, will be relocated to the storied farm for the 2015 breeding season.
The 4-year-old becomes the first Preakness winner since Tim Tam to stand at Calumet, near Versailles, Ky.
Oxbow stood his first season at stud in 2014 at Taylor Made Stallions as the property of Calumet. His sire fee was $20,000, stands and nurses. The 2015 fee will be announced at a later date.
With his front-running 1 3/4-length victory in the 2013 Preakness, Oxbow joined Whirlaway, 1941; Pensive, 1944; Faultess, 1947; Citation, 1948; Fabius, 1956, Tim Tam, 1958; and Forward Pass, 1968 as previous winners of the second jewel of the Triple Crown campaigned by Calumet.
Oxbow was the first classic winner for Calumet under the ownership of Brad Kelley, who bought the historic farm in 2012. He follows the recently relocated English Channel on the stud roster for 2015 at Calumet, which now lists eight stallions.
Oxbow is by Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) winner Awesome Again out of the unraced dam Tizamazing, a full sister to two-time Breeders' Cup Classic winner and 2000 Horse of the Year Tiznow . Oxbow earned $1,243,500 in a 13-race career under Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas that included three wins and three placings.
At 3 he won the Lecomte (gr. III) at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots by 11 1/2 lengths. Following a sixth in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), Oxbow beat Derby winner Orb and subsequent multiple grade I winner Will Take Charge in the Preakness.
Oxbow was runner-up in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I), and was the only 3-year-old to finish first or second in multiple Triple Crown races in 2013. He sustained an ankle injury in a fourth-place finish in the William Hill Haskell Invitational last summer and was retired.
Bred by Colts Neck Stables, he was purchased at the Keeneland September yearling sale by Calumet for $250,000.
"You just can't find a more qualified stallion prospect with his performance and his pedigree," said Ken Wilkins, stallion director at Calumet. "He beat Orb and Will Take Charge twice in the classics, danced all the dances, and didn't dodge anybody. He will be an important sire here at Calumet going forward, and we appreciate the efforts of Taylor Made with his first book of mares."
