Oh come on.
You know, you read stories about trainers beating up jockeys after a race because of a bad ride (one just last week), but I could see if Pletcher killed Castellano it would be justified homicide. That may have been the absolute worst ride I've seen in years, and in a six horse field? Castellano couldn't figure out what to do during the second half of the race - should I go inside? No, I'll go between these horses. Oh wait, no room, maybe inside - nah, back between horses. Damn, blocked again. I guess I'll just go back outside again.
That clown has ridden her before, couldn't he remember that her winning moves have always been sweeping moves outside?
Damn, that idiot cost Stanco a quarter of a million dollars.

George stop. she had plenty of room and had no run when they asked her. she just plodded along like horses with no speed do. she stunk.
and so did molly morgan btw, which i \said would happen. i wish i would have bet. i actually liked belle gallantey a tiny bit last time at big odds and might have played her today. i know MM would have been nowhere on my tickets and POS would have been a bet against as an overbet favorite. but i didn't play so who cares.

The only real POS are Wiz's comments LOL
George - 8lbs on a frontrunner who set slow fractions is hard for any horse to overcome. The ride was terrible but when she finally had a straight path, she did have run.

that's what plodders do!! that's why the biggest asset in racing is speed, but every time a front runner comes along, the easterners want to give it the pish posh and say things like she only wins on seed biased tracks. well this is why you should have speed. so you aren't at the mercy of someone else in a race.
and she had zero run, she plodded along passing tiring horses for second. shea a cow!!!

Evelyn, its a handicap race. If the weight was an issue, then WTF was she doing there in the first place? The horse had nothing with crawling fractions.

"Crawling fractions" - exactly. Not good for closers.

Jeff Siegel just mentioned on HRTV that 8 lbs at 1 1/4 is 'significant'. He also said Princess may not be as good as last year. I agree with both comments. Delaware is a "home" track for her connections - that's why she was there. She just never got into stride. Inside - outside - never straight until the last 1/8th. Rumor is Johnny V rides her next time.

I am watching Siegel too. It is what it is. Would he and everyone else change their tune if she won? Highly likely. I dont agree on the majority things that come out of Jeff Siegel's trap, however he did say she isnt the same horse as last year. This has Life at Ten written all over again.

if you think putting velasquez on solves any problems, then I cant even contoinue this conversation. castellano is 10x the jock velasquez is at this point in their careers.
crawling fractions is the excuse? but when goldencents went 44 and change for a two turn mile and kept going, that was bad for the closers also, right ev?
stop with the excuses. even your boy siegal says she is over rated, and hes a blowhard tout kiss ass.
