Yeah, but how long did they have to wait to take a leak?

I got home in time to see a few races. Burghart called them well. It's just his voice I don't like. It's very grating. Reminds me of Imbriale. The place looked good! Did any of the current SA jock colony start out at Los Al?
And George, I'd say not long - and - that the ladies had tp!

burgart has always been able to call thoroughbreds. he is one of the best announcers in the country in any racing. he is also one of the best morning line makers also.
his voice is annoying, huh? I bet it would sound a lot better on east coast time, right ev?

I heard Tom Dirkin may be retiring soon. Maybe Mr Burgart can take his place since he is so good. Wouldn't that be wonderful. lol. Wiz you really have to listen to yourself talking sometimes. lol.

I bet it would sound a lot better on east coast time, right ev? He did pretty well yesterday, a little tentative in some of the races coming down the stretch, almost like he may have gotten mixed up since the stretch for thoroughbreds is twice as long as for the night-time 4-1/2 furlong races. But overall I liked his calls. 100% accurate as usual. As far as the track, it looks to be lightning fast but these horses and jockeys aren't used to the turns - some seemed to have a problem making the turns and wound up in the middle of the track, especially coming off the last turn into the stretch. Unfortunately by the time they all get used to it the meet will be over.
