I didn't realize Elvis Trujillo moved out to Santa Anita. For some reason I always liked him, hope he does well out there.
Filly First Winner for Freshman Sire Blame

Even-money favorite Caval became the first winner for freshman sire Blame when she drew off in the stretch to post an easy victory in the first race June 19 at Santa Anita Park.
Caval is the third reported starter for Blame, the 2010 champion older horse who stands for $30,000 at Claiborne Farm in Paris, Ky. An 8-year-old son of Arch , Blame won three grade I races in 2010 capped by a victory in the Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I) at Churchill Downs where he handed Zenyatta her lone defeat.
Making her career debut, J. W. Singer's Caval posted a 5 1/2-length victory in Thursday's maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies. Trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, Caval completed the five-furlong race in :56.78 under Elvis Trujillo.
