MANY THINGS HAVE BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT THE 1993 ARC WINNER BUT NONE CAN COMPARE TO HER TITLE AS THE MOTHER OF CHAMPIONS. URBAN SEA MAY HAVE WON THE 1993 ARC BUT IT WAS HER EXPLOITS IN THE BREEDING SHED THAT EARNED HER IMMORTALITY. HER TWO SONS GALILEO AND SEA THE STARS WON THE EPSOM DERBY AND IT WAS THROUGH THE DOMINANCE OF GALILEO IN THE BREEDING SHED THAT SHE EARNED HER TITLE. NOW IT APPEARS SEA THE STARS HAS GOTTEN IN ON THE FAMILY ACT OF PRODUCING G1 WINNERS. HIS DAUGHTER TAGHROODA STORMED HOME TO WIN THE 2014 EPSOM OAKS AND GALILEO NOT TO BE OUT DONE SIRED HIS 3 EPSOM DERBY WINNER WHEN AUSTRALIA BOLTED UP TO WIN THE 250TH RUNNING OF THE DERBY. WITH THOSE VICTORIES GALILEO AND SEA THE STARS BECAME THE ONLY TWO BROTHERS TO PULL OFF THE OAKS/DERBY DOUBLE. AND URBAN SEA. HER LEGACY CONTINUES TO GROW.

She is one of the great mares of all-time KK. The interesting part is that she was not one of the more highly-regarded Arc winners and yet her influence of that race and the breed itself has been remarkable to say the very least. To have two champions sons also be successful at stud along with her daughters carrying on her female line as well is almost unheard of in modern times.
