Wiz - It's unfair to compare 1 day of racing - the BC - to an entire meet. Furthermore, you keep making the same claim, but, aside from the filly division which was decimated by injuries last year (and maybe rainy days), I've yet to see you present any facts to back up your claims.

what facts do you need? look at the entire meet and all of their grade 1 races. then look at the 2 BC days. now tell me which ones had full fields and better horses. but because the BC isn't what yo want it to be, you continuously bad mouth it and say they aren't championship quality races. well if those aren't championship quality races, then the crap that you call the premier meet is running GARBAGE!!
the BC is still the best day of racing of the yar n this country. if haters want to hate, so be it. its pretty clear what your agenda is on this. i know what mine is. and it isn't about it being held in ca. its about having 2 days of full fields and great horses. something nobody else seems to be able to pull off.

and your right ev. it is unfair to compare 1 (or 2) days of racing to an entire meet. it would be a lot EASIER to fill all your grade 1 races spread out over 7 weeks then to manage to do it in 2 days. some horse could run in 2 or 3 different races. that's not gonna happen in the BC. they need way more horses to fill those races, and they manage to do it.

Yes - My "agenda" is to return the BC to what it was intended to be. I disagree it's the best 2 days of racing so our opinions differ. So what? As to "facts" - You made the claim - you do the research LOL
Like it or not, (I'm not sure I do)I've read that the super days of racing have been highly successful which is why tracks do them. So I suppose as you defend changing the BC as the "changing of the times", that same theory applies to the super days.

Good riddance.
Now all that's left is to eliminate 4 or 5 more races, go back to one day, rotate the host site and then maybe just maybe this useless event will become relevant again.
Don't hold your breath.

and then we can work on tap water being drinkable, gas being $.98 a gallon, and electing a president who doesn't commit perjury twice a week.

this entire industry is doomed, and that doo is being brought upon by the people who claim to be fans and want to see it succeed. but that is usually what happens when you start letting the customers (notice how I didn't say guests?) and employees dictate how you run it. listening to the comments of the people in here, there is no doubt it is doomed.
