Yep, you guessed it....another post.
NYRA is not just "Aqueduct" or South Ozone Park, it's a lot more - and I grew up a few miles from the "slums" of Queens (earlier on, even worse) and my sister and brother still live a few miles from there. This has been blown WAY out of proportion, and not by me. Opinions are like something else, everyone seems to have one, and some act like one. Whatever.
By the way, "the hills of West Virginia" are beautiful and scenic, and not everyone who lives there is a "hillbilly" (YOUR word, not mine!!!), especially considering that some consider themselves residents of a suburb of our nation's capital.
Yeah, it may have been considered "offensive" by some, but not by most. Sorry!

George - it was Aqueduct not Saratoga. You have your opinion. Others have theirs.
Damn - I was smart. She wanted me to bet a buck you'd let this go. No way I fell for that LMAO

sorry didn't realize the statute of limitations on quoting peoples opinions and responses included moving from thread to thread ev. so the next time I hear someone refer to a ca. horse or trainer as a "druggie", am I allowed to throw a tantrum and call them out on it for offending me?

I think this thread has reached it's conclusion. As I've said, everyone's entitled to their opinions but that doesn't make opinions facts - including the above.
