I hit the first 4 legs of the Rainbow pick 6 and the final leg also at GP today. Didn't come close in the 5th leg. The cost of my ticket was a whopping $1.60 LOL. It just proves you can make a small ticket and still be in the hunt. The Rainbow pick six is going to be a good bet until someone takes the entire pool. It paid $7200 today with several favorites winning. There will be a lot of money pumped into the pool again Sunday.

GF, I'm not familiar with the mechanics of the bet - is there a 5-win consolation like the traditional Pick 6? Did you cash anything? On the small ticket angle, years ago when I was going to Aqueduct every weekend, I bet a little into the Pick 6 when there was a carryover, mostly hoping for a decent consolation payback. The first time I did it, I bet 2X1X1X1X1X2 (total of 4 tickets for $8). It was a chalky Pick 6, but I had it AND two consolations.

No consolation payoff for 5 out of 6 George. Pres, my nurses are normally inetersted in the 3rd leg only. All BS aside over the last two years Hawkins and I have hit the Rainbow pick 6 for $12,000 and $14,000. Also I have helped some of those nurses set up wagering accounts LOL.

Nurses? I'm the one who's been sick - Where are they? Jon, my wife has been a nurse for more than 40 years. When I get sick, I'm basically on my own!

Mine left to check on racinggal - Guess meeting some friends for drinks after the doc's appt yesterday means I'm well. RG is OK too. They usually meet up on Saturdays. But hey, am free for some nurse visits at the moment!

Jon,
A word to the wise. Beautifull nurses are high maintenance and will compromise your wagering bank roll.

cappernick,
I made one major mistake along the way. I singled a $22 winner on the pick six ticket and did NOT make a win wager on him. Not sure WTF I was thinking. Bad moves like that are hard to overcome.

My bankroll is not only "compromised", sometimes I think it's shut off. And you're right - HIGH maintenance! But I wouldn't have it any other way.

George,
The most accurate lyrics of any song ever written go like this:
"it's cheaper to keep her".
