This has never been a favorite of mine but tonight the US pair made history by getting highest score ever in the free skate. It really was beautiful to watch!

I also going to the ballet! BUT - Last night was beautiful to watch. Both the US and Canadian pairs were fantastic. And if you haven't hear, the US made history winning the first Ice Dancing gold for the US. My guess is you guys will be glued to a bunch of men chasing a little puck, slamming into each other, drawing blood, breaking teeth. taking their little timeouts where they stomp and yell like 4 yr olds - so "manly" (I guess!) and so boring!

WRONG!!!! I hate hockey just as much. in fact I wouldn't watch any events in the Olympics other then the luge, bobsled, speed skating, or that long jump thing, and only those if I was completely bored stiff.

Sure beats watching a game where a defensive back makes an interception and runs it back 50 yards with his finger up in the air like he just won the super bowl, dances in the end zone, then we realize his team is now only losing 45-6!!!! Hockey is (was) an exciting sport with no showboats or primadonnas, just hard nosed players, until they started importing those sissy European players with face shields, mouth guards, five inch thick pads, etc.

I absolutely loathe it. I wish they would go back on strike and never play another game again.
