It's currently raining/snowing in the area. A very wise decision to protect the Jockeys and our beloved Horses.

A very rough week for Oaklawn.
Turfway Park, Oaklawn Cancel Racing Sunday Bloodhorse
Turfway Park in Kentucky and Oaklawn Park Racing & Gaming in Arkansas have canceled live racing for Sunday, Feb. 9, due to effects of inclement weather.
Turfway Park, which was forced to cancel the remainder of its card Saturday after the fourth race, reported that it canceled live racing once more after track maintenance crews were unable to work ice out of its Polytrack racing surface. The Florence, Ky., facility will remain open for simulcasting Sunday. Live racing is scheduled to resume Friday, Feb. 14.
The cancellation at Oaklawn marked the fourth straight day the track had to forgo live racing because of the weather. It also lost part of last Sunday's card.
Oaklawn said it would remain open Sunday for simulcast wagering and gaming, with live racing scheduled to resume Feb. 13.
