Ranked 11th in the nation by number of winners in 2011 with 133, ORIENTATE had 121 winners in 2012, $4.7 million in progeny earnings and 14 stakes horses. “We’re excited for the opportunity to bring Orientate to breeders in the region,” said Richard Golden, president and CEO of Northview. “He consistently gets a great number of winners, with high earning potential, and can get Grade 1 winners. He proved his class as a racehorse and, being a Blushing Groom line stallion out of a *Turn-to line mare, offers breeders a pedigree free of Northern Dancer and Mr. Prospector.”
At the sales, ORIENTATE’s 2-year-olds in training averaged $123,167 in 2012, including a $450,000 colt, a session topper at Ocala Breeders Sales’ Company in April.
