IMO, San Fran is a better team than Seattle.

Hey guys!
Sorry I have been so elusive...December is literally mayhem month for us as not only do we have the holidays with two families to get through but I swear every birthday and anniversary (including ours of which we celebrated our 10 year anniversary on Tuesday...don't ask me what I was thinking getting married in DECEMBER!!) happens this month! We truly have a love/hate relationship with this month and eagerly look forward to January and things slowing down a little. LOL!
Anyway, watching the local news this morning and despite some snow (a dusting of an inch or two) there is a TON of 12th Man fans at the Clink this morning on "Blue Friday" and they have bombarded the area in support of the team.
So excited for the Sunday game...we will be at a family gathering but will have the Hawks game on every tv!! Can't wait!
Hope you guys are having a nice Holiday and football season...I know we sure are...BOOM!!
Then again Terry Bradshaw who has been touting the Hawks all year picked them and the Broncos to go to the big game and picked the Broncos to win....BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sheesh Terry...didn't ya get the memo??? HAWKS ALL THE WAY BABY!!!
(LOVE your twist on it BS...GEAUX HAWKS just looks cool)

This is ridiculous..........3 weeks ago The Saints were vying for a #1 seed and now they're trying to back into the playoffs. There was about 20 scenarios that they WOULD'NT make the playoffs 23 days ago and 18 o/o 18 have come to fruition. UNREAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW Wiz, the Vegas o/u this year was 10.5 wins on The Saints.
Let's try this, Go Tampa, Go Arizona!!!!!!

maybe its just time you adjust BS and realize the saints aren't that good instead of whining about all the ways they had to screw up to get into the position they are in. yes they played better then I thought they would this year, but they are losing these late season games because they aren't that good. especially on the road. admit it and adjust. I have. hell I needed the lions for my preseason futures and looked home free 2 weeks ago. now I wouldn't bet them again as long as Schwartz is the coach if you paid me to. live and learn.

NO, The Saints are pretty good, you just haven't watched EVERY play for the last 12 years (I missed a game in 2000) like I have. If they didn't have Rob Ryan they'd probably be 4-11 at this point. Offensive play calling has been atrocious this year. Drew Brees is too worried if he looks good in his Nyquil and Tide commercials. I think Sean Paytons ex wife took his balls as part of the divorce settlement last year. In last weeks loss to Carolina, how do you posses the ball for 39 minutes and get 13 points?
Wiz stopped quoting yourself, I'll have to send my team of psychiatrists over to your house.

Some of those "experts" were probably the same ones predicting Houston and Atlanta would walk away with their divisions.

maybe that's your problem BS. what happened 12 years ago has no bearing on how good they are now. take off your rose colored glasses and see them for what they are. a slightly above average team who is below average on the road and whose key players are aging.
and btw, ive bet against Houston and Atlanta all season. Houston in fact, every week since week 4. I love it when the "experts" don't agree with me. just guarantees better odds on what I like.

Correction Sir. It's Black and Gold glasses. I'm very unbiased when it comes to watching them play. I said I haven't missed a play in 12 years because I WATCH the games, I'm a DIE HARD. Why do you think my jockey silks have the Saints logo? You're just seeing highlights of them win or lose and looking at numbers and spreads and such.
This is one of the saddest, pathetic Saints highlights I ever seen:
Actually there was an illegal forward pass during the TD shuffle.

I actually do watch most of the games in whole, not just highlights. I watch 3 or 4 at a time on the internet plus whatever is on tv.

BS, Getting ready for some football rivalry my friend? The Saints are coming! Hope my beloved Seahawks are ready. Just for kicks Hubby and I replayed the last SAints game and BOTH of us loved the victory but both of us commented how we hoped this coming weekend would be more competitive for both teams. We want a battle not a shut out. Been reading lots of comments and hearing lots of commentary about how Drew looked uncomfortable in his last game but at 3 degrees with a windchill of -17 how could he or anyone not be uncomfortable?
Gotta admit San Fran is getting scary good when they need to be...just hoping somehow Carolina hands it to them.

Well, at least I'm getting to see a few post season games. I'm pretty happy with The Saints accomplishments this year even though The Saints probably would've ended up 6-10 without their high ranked DEFENSE. The Saints chances against The Seahawks are slim but NOT slim and none. Hopefully they give a better showing this Saturday than they did on MNF. In no way, shape or form are The Seahawks a powerhouse like San Fran or Dallas in the 80's/90's.
Good Luck Treet.
