BG, If I am correct you are referring to when the Seahawks head to New Orleans yes?
I know you HATE the Seahawks but nothing you can say will diminish them in my eyes...they are a good and young team with a bright future and a ton of talent.....I am looking forward to watching them grow together and as young as they are it is impressive that they are as cohesive as they are...still got some work to do but they impress me. Our young QB throws some WICKED passes that truthfully look like he has no business being success with the throw but I truly believe that allow that baseball action gives him an edge. He is scary good with passing in what looks impossible. Love him...and happy to say I scouted him last year in the pre-season and just knew he would be good...at first even hubby didn't believe me but no he has no choice and is a Russell fan through and through.
Interestingly enough...when I was at the BC I was BLOWN AWAY by how many Seahawks jerseys, tshirts, hats I saw...I wish I would have thought to photograph all of them because they are having this cool 12th Man rally on Facebook where people are posting Seahawks fans all over the world and it would have been cool to share all the Hawks fans at the races. LOL!
Again, I know you don't like them at all so I won't gush any further...looking forward to the rest of their season even if no one else is...my only suggestion would be that I hoe not too many left them off their fantasy football rosters because they are warriors and know when to battle & back it up. Looked impossible on Sunday (yes I listened on the radio in LA) but they came charging back after halftime to post the biggest comeback for the team in franchise history. With that being said I kind of feel bad for the Bucs...they just can't get a break can they? They have lost every game but put up some good numbers and battled hard only to come up short...kind of sad because they have played some very good teams and held their own for the most part only to lose again and again. Not a good time to be a Tampa fan but a GREAT time to be a Hawks for...for me anyway. LOL!
You WERE referring to the Saints/Hawks matchup weren't you? If not then fill me in on the 27 days thing.

What else would I be referring to? I've been waiting for this "match up" all year (and the 9ers game, Saints can't seem to beat them lately). Perhaps a bottle of wine bet would be in order since I work p/t for Altria and one of their subsidiaries is Washington states' founding winery at Chateau Ste. Michelle.
Who said I HATE The Seahawks? Just 'cause I F-bombed them doesn't mean I hate 'em. I just LOATHE Pete "The Cheerleader" Carroll. Why would I want to "diminish" them in your eyes? How can anyone "diminish" an 8-1 team?
The reason you see all The Seahawk paraphernalia is just people JUMPING ON the bandwagon. It's human nature to "cheer on" winners. You should have seen all the BRAND NEW Washington Redskins garb here in Richmond, VA (where I live and Virginia considers The Skins their home team since we have NO professional sports teams in this state).
Anyway, the bottle of wine bet is on the table for The Saints/Seahawks showdown.

BG, FABULOUS IDEA!!!
I love St. Michelle and my entire kitchen is wine themed to a point (very Tuscan looking)! St. Michelle has a break out winery that they preside over called Horse Heaven Hills...if ever you get the chance TRY a bottle of their Sauvignon Blanc...I swear it is the BEST SB I have ever tasted! I an envious that you work for a distributor for wines...I would be crazy happy abut that! We have LOTS of fabulous wines at our house and always buying more. I love Argentinean Malbec too! Have you ever tried those?
I personally drink much more red wine than white but love it all. A bottle bet sounds fabulous!! Although shipping wine is a pain in the butt...I can sure try and I will...I am a woman of my word.
If I wine you send me wine...if you win I send you wine. I'll let you pick out a good bottle you think is yummy and I'll pick out one I think you will like. Washington has some FABULOUS wineries (not just St, Michelle) and makes some equally fabulous wines.
Seahawks bandwagoners?? Well only if they are NOT from Seattle...it is like this EVERY year even when they suck. Never seen more die hard fans who will sit in the rain to watch their team lose and stay til the very end. Rarely do you see the fans leaving early around here no matter what the score is. Glad you said you like the team...I knew you didn't like the coach but I thought you didn't like the team either.
I suspect our fingers will be flying in 26 more days before, during and after the game....and sorry but
GOOOOOOOOOOOOO SEAHAWKS!!! LOL!
All the best Friend...here's to a good bottle of wine for one of us!

P.S.~ Speaking f wines...I am also trying to expand my race horse wines...they are VERY far and few between but I am kicking myself for NOT ordering the Rachel wine when I had the chance (Kendall Jackson sends me email updates and specials)! Now it is nearly impossible to find and SO expensive!
Also Megahertz (remember her) has a wine out as her owners have a vineyard. It is $50 per bottle but I plan to order one for my collection....then again it will likely not be in the kitchen with the other wines in my collection but will sit on a shelf in my horse racing office with all the other collectibles and neato torpedo stuff. Have you heard of the Megahertz wine?

I don't work for a wine distributor LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. I work at Altria's R&D headquarters in downtown Richmond (I elaborated in a PM). Anyway I'm thinking more on a hometown wine bet. I usually visit The New Kent Winery twice a year when I'm on my way back from Colonial Downs (they're about 10 miles apart). When me and my GF went for a wine tasting there a few years back I absolutely fell IN LOVE with their White Norton (Rose). It's just FAB (imo) and blew my socks off. Sooooooooooo, if I lose the bet I won't be able to deliver till Spring. No one around here carries The New Kent White Norton and I rarely go out towards Eastern VA where I'd have to pick up the wine personally. On your end, I wouldn't know the difference between a Merlot or SB (except the color). I'm a beer hound and the cheaper the better. I drink for the effect. So IF I win, just get me the CHEAPEST Chateau Ste. Michelle. From what I've read it's kind of pricey. www.newkentwinery.com/wine/white-norton/

Ooops! Sorry BG...I must have misunderstood your earlier post. Hope I didn't \insult you with my assumption. Then again nothing wrong with working for a wine distributor. LOL! At least not to me...my entire kitchen looks like something straight off a Tuscan vineyard hillside! LOL!
Thanks for the link to the wine site...I'll check it out! Still gotta order a bottle of Megahertz wine too before it is too hard to get. I am kicking myself that I didnt' buy the Rachel wine when they were sending me all the promos for it.

My one and only trip to NOLA back in 2001. They were playing The J-E-T-S on Sunday night. I was supposed to go with a good "friend" of mine who was a big J-E-T-S fan but we got into some stupid fight and I ended up bringing my 12 year old nephew at the time. Believe me, Bourbon Street is no place for a child, at night. Attachments:

My nephew Jarett in front of The Dome. We just got out of the dome after watching Kentucky demolish Tulane. I got one of those FREE T-shirts (which is on his head) for filling out some sort of credit card offer. Attachments:

P.S.~ Richard Sherman gives away tickets on his website...maybe if you buy a Seahawks shirt or something you'll win 4 tickets to the game! LOL! [/color]

in seattle? seahawks 38 saints 16 Yeah, then you can bet $10,000 on the OVER. I'm figuring 20-17 which could go either way. There's a reason why The Saints are 9-2 and it's not because of their offense. Obviously you haven't looked at their defensive stats. They don't have that same cocaine offense like they did in years past.

Here's some food for thought, just don't eat it, I seen your girth.
The Saints have the best regular-season ROAD record in the NFL since 2009 (22-11) and the second-best ROAD record since 2006 (34-23).
6-3 4-4 2-6 8-1 6-3 5-4 3-5 3-2 Since 2006 up til yesterday, this is our regular and postseason road record 37-28. That's a 57% winning percentage. Not great, but far from bad. Especially when we're winning damn near all home games.
I don't waste my time looking this crap up, I got them from The NOLA.COM site.

Yeah Seattle & Denver. Alpha, Alpha..Viper. I wish Manning would stop with that fake audible crap, NO ONE is buying it anymore. HURRY HURRY!
Even if The Saints beat Seattle I wouldn't crown The Saints ass. Saints still have some tough games after that. Carolina is in hot pursuit.
