Well, Beholder's home track is Santa Anita, racing experts have agreed that today's track was extremely speed biased.
Can't argue with the truth, no matter what it is.

George:
You and Evelyn are singing the same old song......as I've stated if your Horses had won today, NOT one peep would have been heard about the alleged bias. Adjust for Saturday or just find another Track to play.
I had 2 winners out of 10 Races, you didn't hear me blame the track for why I lost. You take the good with the bad. Be a gracious loser, don't come up with BS excuses

Overall I had a winning day. I didn't have any winners but my horses finished in the money enough to make up the difference.
Tomorrow I guess I'll bet the Breeders' Cup races being run at Calder and Aqueduct.

LOL!! Pres - That's so ridiculous it's funny!
I'm even for today at SA because I didn't play anything there.
It has not a damned thing to do with winning/losing. As George said - The FACT is the track had a huge bias.
Your cryng towel is dumb because no one's crying. Just speaking the truth. You make all these false allegations and get all po'ed when people respond. Sorry - your allegations here are wrong. We responded. Deal with it - YOU ARE INCORRECT.
Maybe the next BC should be held at Indiana. The track's been upgraded and it definitely would be a neutral site in the middle of the country.

@pres
I scored in 4 of the 5 BC races today, so I'm definitely not complaining. It's just a fact that the track condition is playing very well towards early speed. Jocks have been complaining about the kickback all day. The only horse that won from off the pace, London Bridge was kept out of the spray by Mike Smith. There was a lot criticism of track officials from the local connections after last year's Cup when the track had a lot of sand applied to it and thus they decided to "even the playing field" if you will. Not complaining just sayin that has to be taken into account.

No George - You misinterpreted my post. I really did mean Indiana Downs. It's neutral, in the middle of the country and they just had a successful meet. Plus the new owners are making a lot of upgrades. Hey - If Del Mar can make their turf course larger for a chance at a BC, so could Indiana. It's time to get away from SA and return to rotating the BC around the country - if the BC wants to survive.
I wouldn't be surprised if today influenced a lot of non CA outfits to say forget it for next year. And those that stayed away this year are patting themselves on the back!Today was simply a fiasco and I woudn't consider any of the results very viable for year end honors. Except maybe the Sprint LOL More proof the BC is only for California. I'm glad some Euros did well on the turf. Just think,if they had sent their first strings, we might jhave seen some lapping ;D

hello people!!!! once again, anyone that watches anita or can read charts, would know this track today was not really any different then it ever is. its not like they souped it up for one special weekend. it has been like this for years. if your shocked or surprised by it, or caught off guard and cant pick the winners because of it, then that is because you haven't done your homework or refuse to adjust your handicapping. these aren't endurance races. the fastest horses are supposed to win.
ev, those euros that would be "lapping" the fields today, would have been doing the same thing to any of the easterners who stayed home.
your right it is only for ca. ........right where it belongs. lololol!!

Evelyn:
It's quite funny how you chose Indiana Downs, once again another "sniper" shot a me. When I voice my opinions, thoughts they are wrong. But yours are always correct. The crying towel is appropriate because your bias towards Santa Anita and Horses home track is worse than my rants against NY Racing and certain Trainers. I speak from the heart, you from the side of your mouth.

Actually Indiana Downs isn't a bad idea. It's a short drive southeast of Indianapolis, and we know that city knows how to handle big crowds - plenty of hotels, things to do outside the racetrack, bars, restaurants, etc. They deal with the 100,000+ Indianapolis 500 crowd and had a Super Bowl there last year, so it's nothing new entertaining a huge crowd.
