Beholder wins it for the home team and makes some history of her own as she joins Zenyatta as the second horse to win two different BC races.
Royal Delta unfortunately has reached the end of her rope. Time for her to call it a career. She will almost certainly go out a champion despite her dismal performance.
Princess Of Sylmar ran her BC in the Beldame. Should have sat out the rest of the year and now the Eclipse Award for Champion 3YO Filly is in jeopardy as far as she is concerned.

Can she win outside of California? As I mentioned in another thread, it was a sporting gesture to send Princess of Sylmar out there to take on the older horses. All things considered, I'm still glad they did it.

Overall, I still think Princess has a good argument for year-end honors. The KYOaks, CCA Oaks, Alabama and Beldame is quite a feat. Then take into acxount that Beholder took the whole summer off and both filliesbown a victory over the other, and you've got fot a very close vote in my view.

Hopefully now Owners will stop listening to Trainers. Princess had NO business running here today. Stanco should have just kept to the plan.
Let's just hope she came out of the race in good order.

"can she win outside California" EXACT Quote
If she didn't misbehave before the KY Oaks she would have won that race. Why can't you just give credit to a nice Filly? She's now won 2 BC Races, one as a 2-YO and one as a 3-YO.
Yet I get blasted when I say something about NY Racing or Trainers.

THE BC IS RIGGED, NOTICED THAT THE ONLY HORSES TO WIN OUTSIDE OF THE EUROS WERE WAST COAST HORSE ? HORSES WHO ARE USED TO THE WEATHER AND THAT SPEED FAVORING TRACK. OUT HERE IN THE EAST IT IS FALL, EAST COAST HORSES HAVE BECOME USE TO THE COOL WEATHER. THEY GO OUT THERE AND ITS SUMMER AND THUS WEST COAST HORSES HAVE THE EDGE. ANOTHER REASON FOR THE EAST TO BOYCOTT
