This Saturday will be the 3rd Anniversary of my ALL TIME Breeders Cup Moment. Bloodstock has requested that I put up a Happy Anniversary thought. I was sitting in Harrahs Racebook in Atlantic City, pretty bombed and watching the faces of the Zenyatta Fans in disbelief as she lost the race was fantastic. Some even cried, while I was cheering... But please don't BLAME me for bringing this up. BLAME Bloodstock PRES

Two things you bank on just looking at that picture: 1. Zenyatta is clearly in front, it's a pretty deceiving angle, just like the photo finish print. 2. You can see all the mud on Zenyattas' chest indicating it was a definitely a muddy track. Some of "THOSE" Zenyatta women (no names). UN-FREAKEN-BELIEVABLE! I was in my living room at the time huffing airplane glue and this is how I was feeling after the 3rd huff

I was in baton rouge tailgating for the lsu/alabama game. It was a beautiful day. Lsu beat the tide and 2 clown alabama fans paid $250 apiece for my pair of duckets. Pres it was 3 years ago not 4.

She lost? I didn't know that! I was in the clubhouse at Santa Anita that afternoon and the tellers were all cashing win tickets on her. Oh wait, that was just some California Dreamin' - the customers there all thought she won and their tickets were winners. I was in my living room watching the race in splendid HD - one of my biggest wins in any Breeders' Cup race. Blame was a mortal lock, who was foolish enough not to wager on that horse flesh?

Yep - Definitely Mike's fault! (NOT!!) LOL
Buit - The grand girl ran really well and proved she belonged. IF ONLY she had run in better company before that race! I know she could have and would have beaten the boys - probably the Pac Classic. The big "streak" was meaningless IMHO. Besides Rapid Redux came along. BTW I love Zenyatta and am really looking forward to and will be rooting for the very handsom Coz!
