I did the Colonial Harness thing today. Went in with $40, cashed 5 o/o 12 tickets, had 3 beers (the F*ers raised the prices AGAIN to $4) and left with $84. I'd call that a VERY Successful day . My GF lost $9 so she left pretty pissed Here's a pictorial from today's events. Attachments:

Thanks! Exactly as I remember it a few years ago (but it was a sunny day!)
A really nice, clean facility and very well run. Too bad it never fulfilled its promise as a viable race track - thoroughbred or harness. I guess the Jerry Fallwell types have more influence than the gambling crowd!

I don't even know how the place survives. There couldn't have been more than 300 people in attendance. I think I "ROCKED" the board in the 10th when my $5WP wager went in on the #7 with 4 MTP bringing his odds from 17/1 to 4/1.

Hey Blood....my how time flies (and I'm getting old, my memory is failing)! I thought I was there a couple of years ago, and I remembered it being sunny. It was actually 2008, FIVE years ago, and if I didn't know better I'd think I was there the same day as you - same dreary, cloudy day (and sparse crowd) Here is a shot from my visit back then.
