Here's an older one - 1921 & 1922 Mad Hatter
Some Hints:
Famous thopro in the 50s ridden by Eddie Arcaro, trained by Jom, Fitzsimmons, He won the Preakness and Belmont and was 2nd in the Derby
His daughter beat the boys twice! There's a race in NY named after her in the spring at Belmont.

Shooter - My apology. I missed the post!
4 to go
Hints: 1 Trained by Woody Stephens and one of his Belmont 5 winners in a row
2. 1930's - Owned by Wheatley (Gladys Phipps and her brother Ogden) Tragically, he was put down after his second JCGC win as he broke a foreleg.
3. Also 1930's. @ non consecutive wins. His owner is one of only five people to be named an Exemplar of Racing by the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame. His trainer is in the HOF
4. More recent - 80's. He placed in the Derby and Belmont and the first BCC.

Slew O Gold - He was 3rd on the BCC when Wild Again won and Gate Dancer was 2nd but Gate Dance was DQ'ed. He won the JCGC in '83 and '84 First BCC: (From Hollywood Park - now just a memory) One of the great finishes!

I had no idea so I looked it up! It's sad though
Dark Secret (1929 – September 15, 1934) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. He was bred and raced by Wheatley Stable, a partnership between Gladys Mills Phipps and her brother, Ogden Mills, the United States Secretary of the Treasury.
Dark Secret was the son of 1925 Kentucky Derby winner Flying Ebony. His dam was Silencia, a daughter of King James who was the American Champion Older Male Horse of 1909.
Among his important wins, in 1933 Dark Secret won the mile-and-half Manhattan Handicap and the two mile Jockey Club Gold Cup. The following year he won these two races again but after crossing the finish line in the Gold Cup he broke a foreleg and had to be put down
