The picture I posted shows Zenyatta in full flight at the wire. I thought it was a flattering action pic

Full bro to Zenuyatta born at Ashford. Let's hope he gets a better name than her son! Zenyatta full brother born at Ashford Stud A full brother to Horse of the Year Zenyatta was born on April 9 at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Kentucky, according to announcements on Coolmore Stud's Facebook page and Twitter account. The colt is out of Vertigineux and by Street Cry, the same winning combination that saw a filly named Zenyatta go on to capture 19 of her 20 career starts including 13 Grade 1 scores. Along the way, Zenyatta was honored as champion older female from 2008-2010 as well as Horse of the Year in 2010 following an agonizingly tough head beat in the Breeders' Cup Classic. "He's a good quality bay colt, both mare and foal are doing well," Ashford Stud manager Dermot Ryan said in the announcements. Vertigineux is a daughter of Kris S. who had already proven herself as a broodmare before her legendary daughter set hoof on track. The dark bay mare was herself honored as Broodmare of the Year in 2008, thanks to Zenyatta and in part to previous Grade 1-winning offspring Balance. That Thunder Gulch miss captured three Grade 1 contests while banking more than $1 million in lifetime earnings. Vertigineux's first registered foal, the Aljabr filly Where's Bailey, got her broodmare career off to a fast start with a stakes win in her sophomore season. Since then the 18-year-old mare has also produced the winning Giant's Causeway gelding Souper Spectacular, who ran a close fourth in a pair of Grade 3 events, as well as the Bernardini filly Eblouissante, who is currently unbeaten from two starts. This female family also includes English/Irish champion sire Shareef Dancer, Canadian champion turf mare Sweetest Thing and Grade 1-winning stallion Mizzen Mast. www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/editorial/news/article.cgi?id=36029&from=656
