He will make Java's War work for it. Just as he did at Keenland. Both these horses are on the upswing. The scale has tipped toward Java but with much respect to Palace Malice. Pletcher will get a good one without even knowing at times.
He will certainly be the common denominator for testing at least a half dozen horses making early or middle moves. His style will cost him in this race enough for Java to get rolling.
Quantums shows a few storm paths though where PM actually beats JW but the overall measurement is still Java who we still do qualify a MQL.
We feel being a closer in this race, THE closer is a huge advantage. Yes they have been known to be impeded and worse but with normal trip we see Java sitting on a monster race. He'll put that dirt stuff to rest too. He worked very well today.
