I missed that he was taken to Fair Hill! I guess the plan is still to run him in the Derby? Well - at least Rudy has something to do LOL Or do the conspiracy theorists think was a way for Rudy to resume training him?

David Wilkenfeld's Vyjack, who came out of his first career defeat in the Wood Memorial (gr. I) with a lung infection, has been enjoying his stay at the Fair Hill Equine Therapy Center, where he is having regular treatments in the hyperbaric chamber, according to Bruce Jackson, who operates the rehab facility.
Vyjack finished a solid third in the Wood Memorial, beaten a length by Verrazano and just being nailed for second by Normandy Invasion. At first, it was announced by Wilkenfeld the gelding had bled a "2" on a scale of "5," but it was more a case of mucus and a slight lung infection.
He was vanned to Fair Hill by trainer Rudy Rodriguez, where he had received his early training by Jackson.
"He has been enjoying it here and looks absolutely fantastic on the track," Jackson said. "And Rudy has been here every day. The lung infection has completely cleared, and being here at Fair Hill and taking it easy for a little while has done him a world of good."
Jackson said he wasn't sure how long Vyjack will remain at Fair Hill before continuing on to Churchill Downs.
The son of Into Mischief has won four of his five career starts, including victories in the Jerome (gr. II) and Gotham Stakes (gr. III) on the inner track at Aqueduct Racetrack.
