And some think trainers are usually "to blame"? LOL I'm sure Pletcher is "thrilled"! WinStar must need a new mailing list! Fans Can Help Select Revolutionary's Rider WinStar Farm is looking to fans to help decide who should ride Louisiana Derby (gr. II) winner Revolutionary in the Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) May 4 at Churchill Downs. Revolutionary has won both his races this year, taking the Withers Stakes (gr. III) in February before landing the Louisiana Derby last month. The War Pass colt is a leading Derby contender for WinStar which won the Run for the Roses with Super Saver in 2010. Javier Castellano guided Revolutionary to victory in the Louisiana Derby but he has chosen to ride Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I) runner-up Normandy Invasion in the Kentucky Derby. "Well, obviously we need a new rider for Revolutionary," said WinStar Farm president Elliott Walden. "We thought we'd have a little fun and ask the fans who they wanted to see get the mount." StableMates members can vote for favorites Rafael Bejarano, Calvin Borel, Julien Leparoux, Rosie Napravnik, and Mike Smith by visiting WinStarStablemates. Fans who are not yet StableMates members can sign up for a free account and vote.
