wiz - I have no conflict with what you just wrote. Eddie Garcia gets way too much fame because he has the most wins at Los Al over every other jockey. But like you said, he's past his prime and rides very sporadically, mostly for Orozco (I think that's his name) who was Blane's asst trainer. Eddie should stay off horses if that was his riding style and now he's only worse. I can see how Nicassio pulled up Deniro because he ran out of room due to Eddie. So where was the interference call? Non-existent as usual.
John Creager was smart to retire - now he's working for John Andreini the last I heard.
I've had jockeys tell me before that they don't want to call stewards after a race to claim interference because the next time they're in the gates, the asst starters (headers) give them grief. Which I could never understand because the asst starter isn't riding the horse in the middle of the race and causing interference.
