yesterday and a lot of other days in the previius 2 weeks that I have been watching Belmont, it has been an anti speed favoring track, especially met mile day and yesterday. but based on the first 5 races today it appears to have switched around. speed is holding on a lot better today . I may have to adjust my opinion on a few things.

only thing that will help him is an earthquake. maybe if they tilt the track so it is banked downward from the rail out...............

my plays and picks for the late pick four
1236/13678911/158/3591214= 210.00 I like 1 the best in the 8th. I like 9 the best in the 9th. I like 1 the best in the 10th. ( I switched at the last second and put optimizer in and took bonbaguia out. I hope that doesn't bite me in the ass.) I played all five equally in the Belmont.

The main track has been playing pretty fairly today. Bit more of an advantage IMO to come-from-behind horses. Also the inside doesn't look like it's the the place you wanna be. Just some things to watch out for in the big race.

damn!! 7-1-9-11 in the 9th. I needed 9 to hang on for second. had a 10 dollar exact 7-9 and a 2 dollar tri 7-9-1. nothing this way, and I canceled a dollar tri and five dollar exacta at the last second. I stink. dirty rotten nose.

We admit to being a wee bit concerned about the changing racetrack with Palace Malice but with Quantums it's out of our hands...maybe Smith will sit back a tad longer...and maybe not..The best horse usually finds a way at Belmont. GL

wanted to be the first to say congrats to you guys! PM was the play and tho' am not a smith fan, that was a good ride. and yeah - my gorgeous gray was a bust. but hey - when ya hit those kind, it's great! no shame for the "o's" they ran in all 3 and earned their way
hope y'all collect big! never thought i'd see the day e1 and wiz hit on the same horse but it's great!
no excuses for anyone - clean race - everyone had their shot - and today, PM proved best
(oh yeah - we cash here as the so said he was playing what e1 and wiz picked lol he has WP, exacta and tri - this from a casual (very casual) fan!)
go ahead boys - pile it on - am getting tons of that here lol but am also now heading out for a lovely dinner (may need to borrow ear plugs tho' lol) admit tho' that betting $28 and winning $1300 is good lol

Same here guys. No excuses, no regrets, the best horse won period. I am glad that Incognito at least showed that he does belong with these horses. I've been saying all along that Palace Malice would breakthrough at some point. Didn't think it would be here though. And let's give their credit as well. Both Oxbow and Orb have proven themselves to be no flukes in the Derby and Preakness. Let's hope that everybody stays healthy for a showdown for the 3YO Eclipse in the Travers.

cait I wont bust your ball too harshly because I know yopur selection of frac had more to do with you loving the horse then reading the form or handicapping. that's allowed and expected "from a girl". lolol!! and unlike some, you didn't guarantee anything either. whats for dinner? and when do I get my blunt?

I told her to roll one up with tea leaves because you're so wrong about Oxbow He ran well and the exacta paid better than I thought - which was good for me!. Also, a lot of our friends that were here aren't everyday horseplayers so when asked, I toldthem the guys on the site were picking PM. Several played him and send their thanks!

thanks are unnecessary. checks or cash will be accepted. lol damn straight the exacta paid good. when I saw it I wanted to vomit. I put palace on top of four horses and oxbow was the last one I left off, in the tri as well.

Shooter - I was on Incognito also. He ran OK and may be one to watch. To those that picked Palace Malice - Congrats. Wiz and Elite winning on the same pick? Amazing!
Hey - my horse didn't fare as poorly as CC's (actually no one's did - sorry C LOL) and she gets taken out for dinner! Me? I get to munch on party leftovers and that's while I'm helping with the clean up! Damn - that's just not fair!
wiz - I took Oxbow in boxes because I "learned" LOL
